Playwork Wales - The National Centre for Playwork Education and Training in Wales

The Welsh Assembly Government has funded Play Wales to undertake the development of a National Centre for Playwork Education and Training in Wales - Playwork Wales. The Centre will support the playwork sector to deliver quality services to children.

Playwork Wales is working in partnership with SkillsActive , the Sector Skills Council for Active Leisure and Learning in response to the Sector Skills Agreement and Quality Training, Quality Play, 2006-2011, the UK Strategy for Playwork Education, Training and Qualifications.

CPD Consultation April/May 2009

Playwork Wales has consulted on a draft Continuing Professional Development Strategy for the playwork sector in Wales. The deadline for returning the completed questionnaire was 23 May 2009.
