International Playwork Camp

For IPA members taking part in the main conference

Two nights staying in tents on a farm in beautiful mid-Wales: networking, playing with the natural elements and building wooden play equipment.

Friday 1 July
Delegates arrive afternoon, group games, barbecue and campfire

Saturday 2 July
Networking, workshops and skill-sharing:

playing with the elements - for example raft-building, fire play, building a mud oven, kite flying

structure building - for example extracting wood from the forest using horses and building a play structure to leave for local children to use

Another barbecue and campfire, fire play and a band ...

Sunday 3 July
Visits from and to local play projects
Helpers and delegates clear up and strike camp
Travel to Cardiff afternoon
